Designing Functional Polymers for a Sustainable Future

Research Interests

My research focuses on the development of advanced polymeric materials through controlled/living radical polymerization techniques, with a particular emphasis on photoinduced reversible deactivation radical polymerization (photoRDRP). I am interested in designing multi-stimuli responsive polymers and architecturally complex macromolecules such as block copolymers and star polymers for applications in environmental remediation, drug delivery, sensors, and soft robotics. A key area of my work involves utilizing recyclable catalysts and sustainable synthetic methodologies to fabricate functional materials with high precision and tunable properties. I am also exploring the integration of these smart polymers into 3D/4D-printable platforms to enable next-generation sustainable technologies that respond intelligently to environmental cues.
